Gemini is billed to your own key directly by Google, which for 25 files comes to a few cents. If you want to keep going, you choose a plan. Everything sorted until then stays in your Drive.

No. Sorted creates a folder named “Sortiert” in your Drive with one subfolder per category, filled with shortcuts to your originals. The originals stay where they are and take up no extra storage.

In your Google Drive. Categories, suggestions and your Gemini key are stored encrypted in a hidden app folder in your Drive. We have no database with your content.

Yes. Gemini looks at the thumbnail Google Drive creates for every video. For freshly uploaded videos Google needs a few minutes for that, then Sorted picks them up on the next run.

You share the matching category folder with them, for example “B-roll”. Because that folder holds shortcuts, they also need access to the folder with the originals. You set that up once, after that one link per project is enough.

Every suggestion shows how confident Gemini is. You can move any file to another category with one click or put it in several. On the next sort, Sorted updates the shortcuts.

Pro is for anyone who shoots a lot or works with a team. You find footage by place and shoot day, see your best material first, spot duplicate files, share a folder including the originals with your editor in one click and download any selection as a shot list. Sorted reads the place from the GPS data of your photos and videos, at no extra cost.

Not yet. The Sorted app runs on sortiert.io, our German home, and its interface and Gemini's descriptions are in German for now. You can name your categories however you like.

Yes, the plan is cancelable monthly. Your sorted folders stay in your Drive, even without Sorted.
